Are you the technicians, or a referral service?
We’re a dispatch and referral service. We take your call, figure out what you need, and connect you with an independent, licensed and insured heating contractor who does the actual work. You approve any pricing with them before work starts.
What kinds of boilers do you handle?
Gas and oil-fired boilers, one-pipe and two-pipe steam systems, and hot-water (hydronic) systems with baseboard or radiators. That covers the vast majority of residential and small-building heat in NYC.
What does it cost?
There’s no charge to call us or to get connected. The technician gives you an upfront price for any diagnosis or repair, and you approve it before work begins. Costs vary with the problem, the system, and the time of day.
My whole building has no heat. Can you help a super or landlord?
Yes. We work with supers, property managers, and owners as well as individual homeowners and tenants. For a multi-unit building with no heat during heat season, call right away so we can prioritize the dispatch.
Is there anything I should do before you arrive?
If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 or your gas utility first. Otherwise, keep everyone away from the boiler, note any error codes or noises, and have your address and unit number ready when you call.
